A Brief History of Haori
In the Edo period(1603~1867), haori was worn only by men when dressed up.
The history of women's haori begins with a geisha.
It seems that they started by wearing a haori over their usual kimono and dressing up in formal wear.
Therefore, many of the haori are of higher quality than ordinary kimonos, and it seems that they are particular about the design as a show.
